Avant de découvrir tous les gagnants des Olivier Awards 2020, petit retour sur cette prestigieuse cérémonie 2020 qui a eu lieu dimanche soir.
La remise de prix été censée avoir lieu le 5 avril avril 2020 mais a été annulée. Elle a finalement été remplacée par un format innovateur mêlant remise de prix en direct et discours par Skype.
Les Olivier Awards étaient présentés par Jason Manford au London Palladium (ou plutôt dans les escaliers de ce dernier).
Nous avons eu le droit à deux performances en direct des vainqueurs Sam Tutty pour Dear Evan Hansen et de Miriam-Teak Lee pour & Juliet.
La cérémonie a été retransmise en direct sur ITV et sur Youtube (que vous pouvez retrouver ci-dessous).
Tous les spectacles éligibles devaient avoir ouvert entre le 20 février 2019 et le 18 février 2020. Cela représente plus de 100 spectacles !
Cette année, trois comédies musicales mènent les nominations avec 8 nominations pour & Juliet, 8 pour Fiddler on the Roof , 7 pour Dear Evan Hansen et 6 pour Mary Poppins.
